The successor to the original Skypephone has arrive din the form of the Skypephone S2. The S2 has retained the ability to make free calls and unlimited messages with some updated handset features.

The Skypephone S2 has improved the screen to a larger 2.2 inches so viewing images is now much improved. The S2 also has an improved 3.2 megapixel camera.

The Skypephone S2 from 3 Mobile is the updated version of the original Skypephone launched last year. The Skypephone brought a new first to the market by allowing free calls and messaging and the Skypephone S2 will carry the same option but with updated features.

3 has upgraded to camera on the S2 to a good quality 3.2 megapixel camera and viewing your images is now better thanks to an improved 2.2 inch display. As with its predecessor the S2 has Bluetooth and USB connectivity along with a built-in MP3 player.

As you would expect, 3 place a lot of emphasis on the Skype support feature. Skype users can make free calls to other Skype users over the internet and also send unlimited messages whether you are in the next room or in Hong Kong.
