LG has just unveiled the successor to the LG Viewty, The LG KC910 Renoir or the LG Renoir as it will be known. The Renoir is the first LG handset to sport an impressive 8 megapixel camera. Not only is it the slimmest 8MP camera phone on the market, it is also equipped with a Xenon, flash Schneider-Kreuznah lens, manual focus, smile and blink detection and digital image stabilizer. The Renoir also has video capture at VGA resolution of 30fps and also has a secondary video calling camera. An added feature of the camera is geo-tagging which uses the built-in GPS to tag the photos with the location that they were taken.
The KC910 has quad-band coverage for use abroad with support for 3G HSDPA 7.2 Mbps and Wi-Fi so web browsing and downloading can be done at lightening speeds. All of your multimedia files can be saved with ease thanks to the expandable memory of 8GB. Navigation is a dream on the 3 inch WQVGA touch-screen display and is equipped with Accelerometer for auto-rotate so you can still look at your pictures etc no matter what angle your phone is at.
