Fitting well into the Ultra Edition range, Samsung have designed this phone to include the next in generation 3G with HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access), which is arguably its best selling point. This phonoe brings all the benefits of ultra fast connection speeds and an excellent camara without compromising its ultra-slim design.

3G Connectivity with HSDPA

The next generation 3G standard, the U700 supports HSDPA. It allows the handset to connect to the internet at speeds that can be up to 3.6Mbps. In practice this means that it will take less time to load web pages making it easier to browse the internet, it will be capable of sending emails a lot faster than before, and it provides a quality connection for video calling.

The Design

The U700 is a slim, light, sleek-looking slider phone with a centrally mounted scroll wheel and navigation key for access to the main menu. Slide the screen up to reveal a touch-sensitive keypad to minimise the overall size of the phone. The screen by the way, isnt just big, its an awesome 2.2 inches. Bright and with an excellent colour range, this screen is ideal for viewing web pages to make the most of its HSDPA features.

Camera

As you slide the awesome screen up the 3.2 megapixels camera is revealed. The autofocus keeps everything perfectly sharp and natural looking, and with the inbuilt flash youre able to take photos in low lighting conditions without the picture become grainy. It then has a second camera for video calls which take advantage of the benefits of the HSDPA.

Entertainment

It comes with an inbuilt musicplayer and headphones are supplied which give excellent audio quality. It also gives you maximum control over tracks by allowing you to decide what folders to store them in.
