Introducing the Nokia E70
One of Nokias E Series, the E70 features everything youd expect from a smartphone. Its practical design makes it easy to use and its range of features make it the sort of useful tool you cant do without.
Design
At first the E70 appears to be a candybar phone with all the solid, durability of that Nokia are known for. But Nokia have bettered themselves and crafted the keypad so that it flips out 180° over the screen to form a fully functional split-keyboard, which helps take advantage of its many smartphone features. The screen itself is both large and colourful and offers impressive resolutions, and akin to the versatility of the keypad from phone to smartphone, the screen will swap from landscape to portrait mode to correspond to your angle of view.
Camera
A 2-megapixel camera is built into the handset and offers 8x digital zoom to enable you to take photos from a further distance and still fill the screen with your subject by cutting out all the background or unwanted surrounding detail. As with all Nokias the menu is easy to use and the features in the camera menu include a self-time to allow you to get in on the action, and a multi-shot mode so that you can capture a series of photos one after the other and select to keep only the best ones.
Entertainment & Organisation
The E70 comes with a musicplayer and a mediaplayer to help keep you entertained, as well as having Nokias usual organisational features such as the calendar features and an alarm clock. As you would expect with a smartphone, the E70 provides an internet browser, compatibility with Microsoft Office for all your document needs and the ability to synchronise the phone with your PC to update your contacts or diary with ease. The phone features Bluetooth, infrared, and USB connections for a range of connectivity options, and it offers a variety of communication features too. You can make an internet call over WLAN, connect to conference calls as well as sending all your usual texts, multimedia messages and emails.
