Finally, on 9th November 2007, Apple finally released their much anticipated iPhone. This all-new device gives "mobiles" a new benchmark, and sets a high bar for Apples rivals to aspire to. Quite simply, the Apple iPhone is feature packed. One of the key highlights is the touch screen display. Furthermore, because it is a multi-touch display it can detect when it is being pressed in multiple locations and react according to where.

The iPhone gives the user new ways to interact with their phone. For example, you can now rub the 2.6" display to browse your phone book. The iPhone has fully equipped iPod functions so you can play your favourite tracks / videos in exactly the same way as you would with an iPod. You can access the iTunes store with your iPhone and then directly download any new songs when you want to.

The Internet features are excellent. The iPhone can connect to Wi-Fi so that you can browse the web or collect your emails. Access to Google Maps will mean that you never get lost again.

The iPhone is intelligent enough to know which way you are holding it. so, if you hold it sideways, the screen will move to landscape. It has a proximity sensor, so if you hold the device close to your ear it will automatically switch the screen off.

The iPhone is an exclusive to the UK O2 network at the time of writing, and to celebrate theyve launched a range of new tariffs especially for this great new product.
